Why ZeroLink
ZeroLink's file storage works without a vault account. You get a single private access code to manage your files, which are encrypted directly in your browser with AES-256-GCM before upload. Creating the vault does not require a name, email address or password; Stripe may request payment and contact details at checkout.
This is exactly what you are paying for—the privacy infrastructure, not just the gigabytes.
How it Compares to the Competition
1. Mainstream Encrypted Storage (Proton Drive, Tresorit, Mega)
- The Market Rate: Storage allowances, features and prices vary by provider and plan. Compare current plans alongside the privacy features you need.
- The Trade-off: Account-based cloud storage uses a login to manage stored files. ZeroLink uses a private access code instead. This reduces account information, but does not eliminate payment records, technical metadata or network information. ZeroLink can connect billing records to a vault to operate subscriptions, as explained in our Privacy notice.
